[05] Stevie's All About The Love Again has been nominated for a Grammy in the category Best Male Pop Vocals
[01] Stevie has been announced, by UN General Secretary, Ban Ki Moon, to be a UN Messenger of Peace. The announcement which includes 10 other individuals, will be made official at a Press conference on Thursday Dec 03.

[11] A pre-recorded performance (9th Nov.) of Stevie singing That's What Christmas Means to Me at Disneyland (Anheim) will be broadcast as part of The Disney Christmas Parade on ABC television on Christmas Day.
[03] This year's annual House Full of Toys charity concert will take place on December 12th at the Nokia Theater, LA. The Jonas Brothers will be among the artists performing.

[14] Stevie to play the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas on Nov. 28th.
[07] A collection of unreleased Jackson 5 material is to be released in November titled I Want You Back! Unreleased Masters. Included is the Stevie penned and produced song Buttercup.
[07] Stevie makes a guest appearance on Rod Stewart's upcoming album Soulbook on Stewart's cover of My Cherie Amour. The album is due for release end of October.

[21] A concert has been added on Oct 25th at the Ted Constant Center in Norfolk, Virginia

[23] Stevie is scheduled to appear at Rock & Roll Hall of Fame's 25th anniversary celebrations to be held October 29th & 30th. He will perform on the 29th.

[16] The 2009 ESPY Awards, hosted by Samuel L. Jackson, included a performance and award presentation by Stevie. The show was held on July 15 at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles and will be televised on ESPN on Sunday July 19th.

[30] Stevie releases Statement in Time Magazine on Michael Jacksons death: "He would always come into the studio curious about how I worked and what I did.
‘How do you do that? Why do you do that?’ I think he understood clearly from seeing various people do the music scene that it definitely took work. He must have been around 9 or 10 then, and I definitely felt that he would be someone.

[20] Stevie Wonder Live At Last DVD debuts on the Billboard Music DVD charts at Number 1, giving him a 45 year 7 month and 3 week span with Number 1's on the Billboard charts. His first being Fingertips on the
Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1963.

[24] Last night (Feb 23rd) Stevie performed a newly commissioned orchestrated composition titled Sketches of a Life before an audience of 450 invited guests at the Library of Congress. On completion he received a
standing ovation and returned the stage for an encore of his songs, Overjoyed and My Cherie Amour.
[15] To commemorate the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize which Stevie will receive on Feb 23rd, the White House will host a concert on Feb 25th. The event will be broadcast on US TV the following day on PBS.
[14] Stevie closed the NAACP Awards Ceremony on Thursday Feb 12th with the song 'Black Man'
[06] Stevie has joined the list of performers for this year's 51st Grammy Awards on Sunday February 8th. This will be his 12th performance at the Grammys giving him the record for number of performances at this event.
