[24]Songwriter Ron Miller dies at age 74. He wrote songs such asSomeday at Christmas,For Once in My Life and Heaven Help Us All which were made popular by Stevie.
[24]Stevie was at the welcome party on Saturday 21st for David & Victoria Beckham hosted by Will Smith and Tom Cruise where he performed a 15 minute set with songs including Superstition and Signed Sealed Delivered.
[13]Stevie will be featured on the forthcoming Queen Latifah album, Trav'lin' Light, due Sept. 25 playing harmonica on the track Georgia Rose.

[25]Stevie will be among the performers on the 2007 BET Awards, to be aired in the US tomorrow night June 26th 8pm ET.
[23]Stevie, Aretha, Carlos Santana and Ben Affleck are joining forces at a benefit concert at Radio City Music Hall on September 18 to raise funds for a Martin Luther King Jr. memorial in Washington, D.C.
[18]Stevie was at the 34th Annual Vision Awards, Saturday night (June 16) at the International Ballroom of the Beverly Hilton hotel. Stevie presented the Vision Award for Lifetime Achievement to the Blind Boys of Alabama. The show ended with a set by Stevie, who drew a standing ovation.
[13]Stevie received a standing ovation as he accepted the American Society of Young Musicians' Living Legend Award Thursday night (June 07) at the organisation's Spring benefit concert in Hollywood. Upon receiving the award he said, "For as long as I live, you have my commitment to give you the best that I've got."

[23] Tonight (May 23) Stevie will be appearing at a tribute to Paul Simon who will receive Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song. The event will be broadcast on June 27 at 9 p.m. on PBS.

[14] The soon to be released Ella Fitzgerald tribute album on June 5th will include a duet of Ella and Stevie singing You Are the Sunshine of My Life recorded live in New Orleans in 1977. Also on the album is Stevie playing harmonica on the track Too Close for Comfort which feature Michael Bublé on vocals.

[30] Stevie was on stage during We Love Ella: A Tribute to the First Lady of Song at the University of Southern California's Galen Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, April 29. The show will air on PBS on June 6th and a companion tribute album will be released June 5.
[12] Stevie had to buy back his 1974 Grammy for Album of the Year - Innervisions at an L.A. auction for $37,375. The Grammy was stolen many years ago. Although the recipient of 24 Grammy's, Stevie says this one is very special to him It was his first album of the year award, the first for his three consecutive albums (1973-76). Also of personal note this award was received by Stevie along with his late mother who escorted him to the stage to accept it.

March
[12] ASCAP will honour Stevie in DC Stevie on Tuesday 13 March as part of Capitol Hill's inaugural ASCAP American Troubadour Award.
[02] Stevie is scheduled to perform during Ghana's Golden Jubilee celebrations with a live performance on March 9, 2007.
