 Stevie will be this year's recipient of Billboard magazine's Century Award. The publication's highest honour will be presented on Dec. 8 and will be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
The show will air live on Fox.
 Stevie and comedian Robin Williams will appear at a fundraiser on Friday 1st Oct. in Chicago for Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Barack Obama.

 Stevie along with Norah Jones, Elton John, Mary J. Blige and Usher are among performers who will appear on October 8 at Staples Centre, Los Angeles to pay tribute to the late Ray Charles.

 MTV Music Awards 2004: Alicia Keys and Stevie Wonder teamed for her hit "If I Ain't Got You" and then launched into rousing rendition of Stevie’s “Higher Ground.” After the show Ms. Keys said, "It was a dream come
true for me. I know this is something that I will never forget for my entire career."
 Stevie was among many celebrities at the funeral of Rick James (Aug 12). He sang the traditional song "I've Had Some Good Days," and told the crowd: "We're here to celebrate a father,
a husband, a brother, a friend, a son ... to celebrate life."
 Stevie's Scandinavian concert schedule is: Molde, Norway, (July 15), Stockholm, Sweden, (July 17) and Pori, Finland, (July 18).

Syreeta Wright, the former wife and collaborator of Stevie Wonder, has died at the age of 58 after a long battle with cancer.
She started at Motown as a secretary before teaming up with Stevie as a song-writing partner. Her biggest hit was 'With You I'm Born Again' a duet with Billy Preston in 1980.
She released her first album 'Syreeta' in 1972 but it was 'Stevie Wonder Presents Syreeta' which launched her career. The Wonder produced album is considered one of the great 'lost' soul albums of the 70's.
Stevie and Syreeta always remained close friends, and on his recent interview with Oprah he mentioned her illness and sang 'Syreeta I love you' during a rendition of If You Really Love Me a song they wrote together.
Condolences to the family and to Stevie.
 It appears as if the new album has again been delayed. It was recently deleted from Motown's July's release list. No new date has yet been set, but keep checking back here for further updates.
 Stevie is scheduled to perform at Ray Charles' funeral set for Friday June 18th at Los Angeles' First AME Church..
 Ray Charles dies. Stevie paid tribute to a man who was a tremendous influence, saying 'Ray Charles gave the world a lot of love in his music. I often wish for is an end to hate and the cure for hate is love --
and Charles expressed much love in his music.' Stevie's second album, at the age of 11, was called 'A Tribute To Uncle Ray'
 Stevie performs 3 new songs on the Oprah Winfrey Show. 'What The Fuss', most likely the first single from the forthcoming album, 'How Will I Know' a duet with his daughter, Aisha and an unnamed track.
 New album release date now pushed back to July 27th.
 Stevie received the artistic achievement award at the annual T.J. Martell Foundation dinner.

 Stevie Wonder has been selected as recipient of the Johnny Mercer Award by The National Academy of Popular Music/Songwriters Hall of Fame. The award will be presented June 10 2004.
"The Johnny Mercer Award goes to a 'songwriter's songwriter,"' Hal David, chairman of the Songwriters Hall of Fame, said. "I can think of no one who is more deserving of this accolade than Stevie Wonder.
His music is known and loved around the world and has made a difference in the lives of so many."

 'Ultimate Mancini', a tribute album to composer Henry Mancini, features a guest performance by Stevie playing harmonica on Moon River.
 Stevie Wonder to perform in Ghana for charity. The concert will raise funds to support under-privileged children in the country. It will be held on the April 3 at the International Conference Centre.

 Word out of Motown Records indicate that Stevie's new album, titled A Time 2 Love is scheduled for release on May 11th.
